What drives the cost for a plumbing company
The short answer: how many markets, how many channels, and how much content.
- Number of service areas. One city is simpler than five communities across a region. Each area needs its own pages and profile work.
- Channels. Local search alone costs less to run than local search plus paid search plus content.
- Website state. A sound site needs tuning; a weak one needs rebuilding, which is where Elite's website discount and Enterprise's included build matter.
- Content volume. Code-change and program pages take research and your review time.
- Commercial work. Builder- and property-manager-facing pages add scope.
A worked example of whether a plan pays
Take a plumbing company with a $500 average job and a 45% gross margin: $225 of gross profit per job.
On the Growth plan billed monthly, $1,999 plus GST/HST, the plan needs to produce about nine extra booked jobs a month to cover its own cost ($1,999 ÷ $225 ≈ 8.9), before ad spend. If ads add $1,500 a month and cost-per-booked-job runs at $75, those 20 ad-driven jobs bring $4,500 of gross profit against $1,500 of spend.
Change one number and the picture changes. If your average job is $1,200, as it might be for a company focused on water heaters and repiping, the same plan needs only about four extra jobs to pay for itself. That is why we ask for your job values in the first conversation. These are illustrations, not promises; your own numbers decide.
How to choose
- One location, mainly service work, website in reasonable shape: start with Growth.
- Several areas, or a website that needs replacing: consider Elite for the broader channel mix and the website discount.
- Multi-branch or a company that wants a dedicated team: Enterprise includes a website build and priority support.
- Not sure: take the free 30-minute consultation and we'll recommend one, with reasons.
Annual billing saves 25% on each plan compared with month-to-month. It makes sense once you're confident in the work; there's no pressure to start there.
What isn't in the plan price
Being clear about extras avoids surprises:
- Ad spend. Paid directly by you to Google or other platforms, from your own accounts.
- Third-party software you choose to use, such as job management or call tracking subscriptions billed by the vendor, if you already have them.
- Photography or video shoots on site, if you want professional work beyond your crew's own photos.
- GST/HST at your province's rate (GST and QST in Quebec).
Everything else in your agreed scope is covered by the monthly fee.
What you always keep
Whatever the plan, your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts, tracking numbers where possible and content belong to you. If you leave, they stay with you.

Frequently asked questions
Is ad spend included?
No. Google and other platforms bill you directly from your own accounts. Plan fees cover strategy, setup, management, content and reporting.
Is there a contract?
There is no long-term contract: every plan runs month to month and ends on 30 days' notice. Annual billing is optional and lowers the monthly price.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and plumbing companies add GST or HST for their province, or GST and QST in Quebec.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses and is separate from paid plans.
